This is the second house that we have built with Darren Sears and his team. From Tira, the exceptional builder and his team, all the way through to the kitchen installers, painters, tile layers, carpet layers and many more hands on people, nothing was too big or too small for the team to handle and it shows in their workmanship on our beautiful home. We have said that this is our last build, but if it did happen again there is no one else we would use than Abode Homes.

We were considering a new house build; however we didn’t want the hassle of working with builders, subcontractors, the Council etc. So we looked at several building firms and after viewing the company show home decided they would be the ideal firm to go with; we absolutely loved their show home.
Right from the word go everyone was excellent to deal with, friendly professional and responsive. Their New Home’s Consultant was a joy to work with. She was very organised, proactive and provided great ideas when discussing plans and design considerations.
Their Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor, were friendly, communicative and easy to contact. The builders and trades people engaged by the company were all great to work with and produced high quality workmanship. Any concerns or issues during the whole build process were minimal and those that popped up were quickly dealt with. Overall we are extremely satisfied with our new home and are very glad we chose to build with this company and the talented individuals they employ.
The after care service has also been excellent. We would definitely use this company again, if in the future we ever decided to build again.

Our relationship started with Darren and his team in mid-2014. We had purchased a section in Heretaunga and visited Darren’s show home in Upper Hutt where we met with their New Home Consultant.
We found a floor plan we liked, but there were changes we wanted to make and Darren’s team were flexible and able to accommodate these. The build was under way in late February 2015 and the house was completed on time and handed over to us in August.
